Intro to Animation-Reflection
The ‘Intro to animation’ courses really broaden my perspective on observing things and making animation. I was impressed on the task that we were asked to take 20 photos and draw a map nearby. This assignment allowed me to observe the ordinary things with a more creative mind to find and feel something unusual. Also, the elephant and castle project offers me a precious opportunity of improving communicative and collaborative skills when work in a team. In the ‘Point of View’ project, I got inspiration from my green necklace and I decided to make a film to show the charm of green. In my view, green always make me natural, energetic and hopeful. However, it could also represent some negative emotions like envy. I found this contrast is interesting and mysterious which makes me want to explore further. Thus, I did some research to visualize the different characteristics of green. During the process, I found it’s difficult to develop them and do more visual experiments because express feelings on a color is abstract. I tried my best to explore more visual effects and I will continue to improve this kind of skills. In short, I was really enjoyed with this project as well as the independent and creative process. All the experience would help me work better in the future.
